OT: Who gets the last word?

Well... not only did I survive the freezing temps in north suburban Chicago, but I completed the 5K walk in 54:04 - had I been racing, I'd have come in 352nd. At least I didn't finish dead last, and now I have two goals. For the next 5K I do, I want to come in at or under 50 minutes. For this one next year, I want to run one mile of it.

Just got home from running cross country. This is the best time of the year to be outside and exercise, it´s not very wet and you can put on shorts and a t-shirt (or speedos if you´re kinda queer). Woods filled with wood anemones and liverleaf and the annoying squirrel seems to have better things to do than harrasing me.

Hey all, I didn't have any internet access this weekend.
Meeting Kari and Grant was awesome. On my return trip I met David Sedaris at the Madison Airport. Funny, funny guy.
Today was my first day back from vacation and I got some good news. I had applied for a web designer position with American Girl, and I just got a message from them wanting to set up two 30 minute phone interviews with me. I really hope I get the position. It would be a hell of a lot more than I'm making now.:kickass:

Are you still going to be living in Wisconsin if you get the job? Anyways, good luck on the interviews, emtfhII!!

Oh yeah...I'll still be in Wisconsin. Their headquarters is in Middleton (West side of Madison). They're owned by Mattel, and they have an awesome benefits package. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

A jobs benefit package is how I base whether or not I want to work there. Money is nice and all, but it definitely isn't a main factor in my decision making.

Best of luck, dude:rock:

No problem:kickass:

Well, if you wait that long, the dvd player will probably be a thing of the past:lol:
You aren't that far off :waah:

It's a catch-22. I can't watch it when the kids are awake because they demand my attention, or the TV is in use showing Lunar Jim, Inspector Gadget or Star Wars. I can't watch it after the kids go to bed, because my wife doesn't like my music. So I have to wait for nights when my wife is out, and then try and get the kids to bed as early as possible. :goggly:
