Watched "Farce Of The Penguins" last night... got kinda scared when I read some of the real negative reviews the same day the DVD arrived in the mail. Sure wasn't a GREAT movie, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I had expected it to be. I still don't like Bob Saget, but Lewis Black was pretty good in this one... and it was marginally more interesting than "March Of The Penguins" was.

What a day. Had to get up at 3 to be to work at 4, hit snooze a couple times and luckily was ready in time because my ride was early. Stopped for coffee, got to work. Thankfully the day went really fast. Big bosses in the store, blah, blah, blah. All went well, didn't get bitched at all day, and got to leave at 1. Came home, got the boy from school, dropped the kids at grandma's house, fell asleep watching Oprah, got up, ate dinner, watched Grey's Anatomy, picked up the kids, threw the sick one in bed and am now working on getting the other one down. All I have now is to write out some cards, and throw some laundry in the dryer.

Not bad for my day off, huh?

Woke up this morning and looked at the seven empty bottles of wine left from dinner last night...and figured out why I have a headache now...

Well, my husband never turned the alarms off yesterday morning and of course I didn't think to check them last night so both went off at 6:30 and Joe got up with his (I had just slapped mine). So I went into the living room with him and he's now engrossed in Saturday morning cartoons. His fever's gone and he looks a lot better, but he's still not eating much. Which is strange for him, it's usually pretty hard to keep him full.

Joe's fever is back again, was 103.7 earlier, if it got an accurate read, the kid can't keep still for 30 seconds to wait for the beep. I gave him Motrin and had him lie down while watching TV and he seems better now. The only thing we can figure is six-year molars.

Okay, somebody start giving up some granola recipes. I want to try something new but it has to be good enough that my kids will eat it. I found a couple of recipes online, but most of them are gross. I'll die before I buy any tofu.

Just got back from Leavenworth Washington, it's a Bavarian Style town in the Cascade Mountains. They had their Maifest festival this weekend. So drank some beers. Got home to my computer not booting up. Blue screen of death and I can't find my boot disk. Will post some pictures of the shops around there on my myspace when my computer works again.
