Other than Metal what bands do you like?

Love The Offspring. They're a fun band, and they're consistent. Also other punks bands like Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Dropkick Murphys, some Green Day, Tilt.

I also like some straight up rock'n'roll like George Thorogood, and The Headstones.

Also, good beer drinking songs by Celtic or Irish influenced bands.

XoloX.com has a disturbing list of downloads if you look up Sesame Street, such as "Elmo in Hookerland", "Homicide: Life on Sesame Street", "Kermit and Big Bird Get Stoned", "Homer Beats Elmo", "Cartman Takes Out Elmo", "Rubber Ducky-German Techno Remix", etc.

I've heard quite a few "covers" of the Sesame Street theme before.

As for Metallica...I have no idea where to start.

Dave Mathews Band, Beastie Boy's, Collective Soul, Live, The OffSpring, Some CandleBox, Alot of Classic Rock, most anybody, and alot of that cheesy 80's music. Whenever I hear it it makes me think of my youth! ;)

Well way to many to list. But some are
Sting/ Police
Dave Matthews
Oasis
Travis
Flogging Molly
Beasties
House Of Pain
Green Day
Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Misfits

NFF you should give flogging molly a spin good Irish punk rock.

I heard that Ozzy's gonna be on Sesame Street next month!

Besides metal, I like:
The Ventures
"Weird Al"
Classical Music
Ramones
Dead Kennedys
Beastie Boys
Run-DMC
and other stuff.

At the moment, a lot of Frank Sinatra, Hamell on Trial, Iggy Pop The Clash, Blur, Eels, The Velvet Underground, Miles Davis, Jurassic 5, The Reverend Horton Heat, and more Frank Sinatra. Next month, I'll have an entirely different rotation, except for Frank. He's always in my disc changer in my car....

Probably my favourite thing outside of Metal is Final Fantasy/anime soundtracks! I am a proud owner of the FF7 soundtrack and ordered FF9 one only a few days ago! As far as Final Fantasy music goes these two have it nailed. FF7's music is by far more consistently great but the best tunes on FF9 (Loss of Me, The Dark Messenger, Melodies of Life and of course You're Not Alone!) are better than FF7's best.
I also recently picked up a Tenchi Muyo! soundtrack, probably the only pop album I will ever own (and be severely proud of at that). The choons off Dominion Tank Police rock too...

Outside of that...recently I dug out all my old Eric Clapton stuff, so it seems I still like Cream, Blind Faith and Derek & The Dominoes (man, did I just realise how good their first album truly is?!) as well as Clapton solo.

Other than that...I suppose the only band I can put a definite thumb on is Free. Then it's random songs by random bands...The Rolling Stones and The Beatles included, say. Oh, count post-Filosifem BURZUM in there too. Heil Varg!

You people are right about this shit being quite tricky but here are some of my favorites.

The Beatles
Led Zep
Jimi Hendrix
Van Morrison
Ac/Dc
Guns n roses
The Prodigy
David Bowie
The Proclaimers
George Harrison
James Brown
Cream
