Ozzfest times

Unfortunately for me we showed up too late for Nile and we had to leave before Ozzy. At least we saw Behemoth who were good but the set was too short. However later on I met Karl Sanders who just happened to be sitting behind me watching Lamb of God play. I got to talk with him for a couple of minutes and he was a really cool guy. :kickass:

...just curious,What did he think of Lamb of God?

Both.

Second stage is played throughout the day... ends at about 5 or 6 most places. Second stage has its headlining bands who, this year, are... Hatebreed, Behemoth, and mondo generator.

Evening hits and then thats where all the big names play.

When headlining bands come, i'm leaving. One, becuz all the bands suck except LOG. 2. I have work the next day. During second stage, that includes the rotating slots right?

He didn't really seemed all that interested actually. He was talking with his GF most of the time and then he talked with me and my friend. Personally I don't like LOG at all but we were there so why not?

I missed about three bands because we had car problems. 3 Inches of Blood, Daath, and fucking Nile, respectively. :(

By far, Behemoth put on the best show. They got one hell of a welcome for their first Ozzfest.

I thought LoG put on a fantastic show. If you are a fan of them, you would definitely be pleased. If you don't like them, then your mind probably wouldn't have changed...

Sucks that you missed nile.

I take that back. I didn't miss Nile, they couldn't make it:
Everyone has done everything in their power to get us to the Pheonix Ozzfest. It has been a long, frustrating day, being broken down in the desert since 9am. Nile barely made it to the House of Blues show in Hollywood, but they did make it, with a minimal amount of equipment, and totally rocked the place. They put on an amazing show, despite the long day, only one van for transporting equipment form the broken down bus to the venue, and arriving 20 minutes before doors opened.

I'm sorry that I couldn't post this earlier, but like I said, we've been stuck. I hope you all understand the situation, and know that Nile would never miss a show if it was AT ALL possible to be there.

(I was supposed to fly home from Pheonix today, but we can't even make it to the city for that, so that had to be cancelled as well. Now I have to stay on longer, Darn, lol)

-(MASH)

so yeah, it really sucked, but hopefully no one else has to miss Nile in NM or beyond.
