Parady of what? But yes Folk metal is definitely acquired taste. Try the band Ensiferum if Turisas turns you off. Ensiferum is essentially a MDM/Viking metal band.

I don't know... I saw an Eluveitie video and I just burst out laughing. I will try Ensiferum, though, because I'm always out to try new bands... I hated Doom when I first heard it, and now I'll listen to it on occasion.
