Well, "The Perfect Elephant" is growing on me quite a bit. Lots of catchy, toe-tapping tunes, although I thought the first song on the album, "Used" was about child abuse because I thought the chorus went "Daddy used to bang" and I was quite disappointed that they couldn't have been a bit more subtle about it.

Apart from that it's a rockin' CD! Not in a rush to check out the rest of their stuff just yet as I'm on a CD-buying hiatus.

Mu-Hahahahaha

Finally, my plan is coming to life!

Nah, that is cool man. I told you they were a band that grows on you. Keep giving them time, and I am sure you will love them. I think out of everyone on this board Spiff, your musical tastes are the closest to mine, so I reckon you will really like POS.

Used is a great song. I love the 'I am crying.. Unwept tears through this spiral......... I'll die trying to break this thick crust of silence!!'

Seriously dude, they have some fuckin awesome Vocal melodies and vocal harmonies. I think that is what I like the most about them. Their songs are so deep and complex. So many layers, but they arnt wankers about it like many pther prog bands.

Daniel Gildenlow (Singer/Songwriter/guitarist/brains of band) is a fuckin genious man!

I got The Perfect Elephant first as well, and loved it, so bought Remedy Lane next. I didnt think they could top TPE, but Remedy Lane is very very good as well. Dunno which one I like better, as both are brilliant, but Remedy Lane has the song I Pledge which is bloody beautiful. That's the thing....... the rock hard, but other songs are really emotional. They know how to pull on the emotion in their songs... I think mainly through Gildenlow's voice and the way that he sings the lines.

Salty, you definatly need to check out TPE, and also Entropia, which is awesome. TPE and Remedy Lane are hailed as their best efforts, but Entropia isnt too far behind at all. It has Plains of Dawn on it, which is prob one of my fave songs ever. The first couple of minutes are just vocals with some awesome harmonies going on!

POS

Why doesn't anyone seem to like One hour... The album rocks - its so different to the other albums (but they all rule!)

Pitty we'll have to wait up to 2 yrs for TPE pt.2 - as they are waiting to get hold an orchestra for it!

I do like One Hour by the Concrete Lake. Has some very good songs on it. I love Pilgrim, NYE, and the Big Machine... and Inside. But all up as an album, I don't think it matches the other 3. Dont get me wrong, it is top's, but I like the other 3 better. Dunno why, I think the songs just flow better on the other one.

Blitzy, it's a much better title, just as "Wolfman & Friends" is a far better title for Iced Earth's "Horror Show".

Honestly, these bands could be HUGE if they hired me as a consultant!

I had to, there was no other smiley which could show how exasperated I am at the fact that I have not yet been hired as a consultant. What other one would you suggest?
