The new Powerwolf album gives me chills.

Attila has the most badass operatic vocals ever. I love his Latin post-chorus wailing, like in "Raise Your Fist Evangelist" when he goes "Ave mater dolorosa, Eos crucem lacrimosa."

Kiuas's "After the Storm" when Ilja's sister just fucking WAILS, holy shit it never fails to give me chills. A lot of Kiuas like the Finnish chant in "Across the Snows," the climax in "...And the North Star cried."

The "Champion of Ithaca" part of Symphony X's "The Odyssey," and the end of "Candlelight Fantasia."

Clean vocal parts in Windir's "Heidra," "fagning," and "journey to the end."

clean vocal parts in Wintersun's "Starchild" and "Sadness and Hate," and the key change(s) in "Death and the Healing."

Good call on 'Heidra', 'Fire Above, Ice Below' and 'Starchild'.

I'll add:

The epic climax/outro riff on Disillusion's Back to Times of Splendor album - the track is 'The Sleep of Restless Hours'.

The riff which concludes Ulver's 'I Trolskog Faren Vild'

The whole of Ne Obliviscaris' 'Forget Not'

After a restlessly beautiful riff (which in itself is spine chilling) the clean vocals which emerge in Austere's 'This Dreadful Emptiness'.
