Patriots In The AFC Championship Game!!!!

Well lets see...I could play the game that a few monkeys played here last week and say that the Colts didn't really win the game but rather the Patriots lost it.............Right:rolleyes:

But I'm not going to argue with a clown who doesn't anything about the game (You're not worth it retard!!)

I was the only one out of everyone I was watching it with who didn't like the fact that even though the Pats went in with a 21-3 halftime lead and Manning had thrown a pick that got brought back to the house....He never got that sad dog look on his face. Through the entire game He showed a mental toughness I've NEVER seen him show and he truly deserved to win the game!! No blown or bad calls that I saw!! I believe the Patriots brought their "A" game and got beat by a team that looked to want it more...Hats off to Tony Dungy and the Colts!!!! Despite the obvious fact that I wanted the Patriots to win and there is no silver lining in losing... I really like and respect Tony Dungy and I'm happy for him..With everything he's been through the last few years playing in a Super Bowl against one of his best friends has got to be sweet for him!!

Just for the record....I'm no Colts fan and will be pulling for that awesome Bear defense to somehow pull the upset. The offense under Rex Grossman won't be able to do it..(And the two headed monster will be the main focus of the Colts Defensive schemes) Anyway, except for the final score, it was a great game!!! And I'm sure the best QB in the league and his dynasty Patriots will be in the same position next year...Hopefully with different results!!!

I say this half hearted.......GO BEARS!!!!

let the excuses begin T-Bag. lets hear how NE lost the game & how Indy got lucky. up 21-3 only to lose 38-34. oh & if u having been paying attention, Brady has been having a bad post season also. looks like Manning made them pay for it. game winning drive to lead them to the SB.

i'll say this. i didn't see the roughing the passer call ? i'm not a colts or pats fan i just didn't see where they got that call from.

i hope the bears win not just because i'm a bears fan but, because i have never heard the word "I" used more times in an interview that i heard in the post game comments of payton manning. he's the first guy to toot his own horn and the first guy to point the blame at everybody else. has been since his days as a Vol. in my imo he dosn't deserve the championship just because of his piss poor attitude. maybe the colts should send him out onto the field by himself on superbowl sunday. what a jackass.

Like I said in the other thread, Tman, I don't believe you or the Patriots have anything to be embarassed about. Both the Pats and the Colts left everything they had on the field, and it really was a classic game.

For myself, I honestly feared a rematch against the Patriots, for the sole reason that they beat the Bears earlier this season, and I think they'd still be hungry for blood. That said, I think it's going to be a nailbiter this year - unlike some of the blow-out stinkfests that pass for Super Bowls - and whoever wins will definitely have some battle scars, but both teams will be tough.

I respect you even more now. Good post. I do want the Colts to win though. Maybe then I wouldn't have to hear all of the "poor Peyton" stories. Then we could focus on how truly average his brother is. I won't be heartbroken if either team wins though.

I was pulling for Indy and N.O. but have no vested interest in either. I was happy to see a great game last night.

WTF was up with #87's eyes on those dropped passes. Poor bastard looked like he was on Meth or crack. I bet Brady wanted to put his cleats up his ass.

The Bears D is awesome and special teams are very good. But the offense better run, run and run.

If the Bears D was average they wouldn't have made the playoffs.

We know about Indy's offense but there D and special teams need to step up and not let Grossman actually look good. If the Bears return kicks like the Pats did last night. It will be a long day for the Colts D.

IMO The afc championship game ranks as one of the best ever, with the chargers vs dolphins of the 80's, i think the Colts will win, the AFC will take it again. no disrespect for the Bears, but i wish them luck also.

Peyton Manning had the same look on his face during that game that he has had in every game. This is the Elway theory. Before Elway won the Superbowl every media outlet referred to him as a big game choke artist. Now everyone calls him one of the greatest clutch QB's of all time. Now the look on Manning's face is going to be called the look of a champion (if they win).

all i heard from Pats fans at work is how half the team was sick with the flu which lead them to losing the game. great game regardless. was on the edge of my seat the whole game. so many momentum changes. you think it was gonna go one way where 1 team just pulls away & then BAM! momentum swings back the other way. the fans are the main reason i dont like the Pats. before there SB run i always heard how great they were when they won & are SB bound & they lose the next week & the same people say they suck & dont deserve to win another game. dont like Manning either cause he's a whine ass. blames the line when he gets sacked, points to the WR on where he shouldve went when he threw a bad pass & what not. how about Belichick snubbing Manning like he did with Mangini when he lost. is this guy a sore loser or what? all u did was cry about LT & what he did & said for him to stop crying but nothing about Belichick for his unsportsmanlike manner. i liked Belichick until the Mangini incident. you win some & you lose some but congratulate the opposing team the same way whether you win or lose.

That's not true!! I mean he had a stupid look on his face but he's a stupid looking guy so I expect no less!! But he never got that "Oh no, I blew it" look that he gets everytime he plays N.E. I expected to see his bummed out sad dog face when Samuel picked him off and brought it back...He never did it....The guy was really focused on what he needed to do and as much as I hate him and that team....He outplayed Tom Brady in that game and earned his teams right to play in the Super Bowl...Hopefully the Bear "D" can bring back that "I just want to open a vein and die" look for him..

The flu is a part of life...I've gone to work sick and you probably have too..
I haven't heard one player from The Pats blame the flu as the reason for losing that game...I don't listen to much of what other fans have to say because I find myself grounded in reality and half the time I don't know where the hell the other guys are coming from..

I don't honestly think it makes a bit of difference one way or the other...Not shaking hands with somebody doesn't make you a bad sport (Unless they have their hand out and you walk right past them, Or they're seeking you out and you avoid them) A bad sport is someone who badmouths a team and cries foul in front of the media (Like L.T.) I saw Belichick give Dungy a big hug and words of encouragement. And Mannings press conference speech had nothing but praise for the Patriots and their coach which tells me if Belichick did miss him (I haven't heard anything about this until reading your post) Manning didn't take offense..A little advice, don't believe everything you read and hear..The press doesn't like Belichick and they make no secret about it..Anyone else doesn't shake hands or do a dance for the other team it's a non issue...Belichick doesn't do it and it's the end of the world!! If Manning and Mangini aren't upset about it why should you be??

Good post T_man, i'm very realistic too, if people been around football for a few years we all know Bellichick's attitude back with the Browns, i do believe he's gotten a little better over the years, but IMO it doesn't matter if you're a class organization, on such a huge & close game, how can't you not get pissed or emotional, i know i would.

thats what im saying, the flu is a part of life but the Pats fans at my work blamed that & Harrison being out & yadda, yadda. the Belichick thing w/ Mangini when the Jets won, Mangini was getting ready to stand & talk to him & he turned away & walked off. then the Pats win in the playoffs & he seeks out Mangini & gives him this big hug. just seemed like an act to me. this is old news now, so on to the SB.

Top Five Reasons Hatriots LOST Sunday

#5 - Tom Gets A Life: Tom 'Fraidy is spending too much time on his "life", and not "football". Look at his playoff numbers to understand the effect -- not too hot. Most recent example: moving on from Bridget to a Giselle

#4 - Hard To Keep Playing The Underdog: Even Hatriots fan and ESPN guy Bill Simmons gets it (see this article for details): when they keep winning, they can't keep pretending they are not getting any respect. Good quote from the article: "An entire generation of fledgling NFL fans is being raised to root against them as we speak." Yes, Bill, we do!

#3 - Peyton Is Due: Seriously, life cannot be that cruel. So many big games, so many disappointments. A great QB, but no rings. The only one rooting against him: Dan Marino. And Jim Kelly. Oh yes, Dan Fouts. And Fran Tarkenton. And ...

#2 - Adam, Vinny, Terry: This three-named kicker used to be our biggest fear. Now, he is our best friend. Come on guys, kick some field goals!

And the Number one Reason.....

#1 - It Is Time: Rafiki said it best: "it is time". It just is. This has gone on long enough. We cannot take two more weeks of this. Even the Roman Empire fell. Please end it. Please!

life "can" be that cruel, the guy is a jackass. i hope he looses just so i can watch him cry and point the finger at every guy on team. well.. except himself of course.
