well, waters isnt exactly the group's founder that was what i was refering too...

I did (of course)

Started with breathe, and would have to be my fav version Ive heard, as usual Dave and Ricks harmony was great. Then money, Roger looked kinda nervous in the closeups. Then WYWH, Roger sung the second verse, and added a nice intro. By comfortably numb they were all really into it, and it flowed perfectly. It was so nice to hear Rogers bass with the rest of them again. The whole set sounded great (not overrehersed like PULSE) like Floyd, they didnt sound aged at all. At they end Roger beconed David to join him in a bow, it seemed like he enjoyed being there alot. Easily the best performance of Live8 (or that I have ever seen on tv for that matter)

Jesus Christ! "It was so nice to hear Roger's bass with the rest of them" ??? He plays freaking BASS man! I'm fairly cetain I could've walked up there and played his stuff and you wouldn't have known the difference blindfolded, rocket science it ain't. Vocally, he sounded like they hadn't fully warmed him from the casket he was sleeping in...and looked it too. Gilmour was in good form, as was the rest of the band, but Waters looked and sounded like crap.

And, why does one band > another band? It's a dead end street, music is subjective, different people are supposed to like different music, it doesn't make sense doing this childish, swingin' dick, my band is bigger than your band stuff.
