Pink Floyd reunites for Live 8

Roger's singing was rather lousy (no wonder they didn't do "Hey You"!), but he played bass well and looked genuinely excited to be there.

Great performance. I liked Richard Ashcroft and Coldplay doing "Bittersweet Symphony," too, but Floyd was king.

I actually enjoyed it. I had no idea what to expect as I have not listened to anything from him or King C.... so I just enjoyed the ambience. It was cool. <--- just an opinion so don't get all bent out of shape.

yes, you are correct, I am so ashamed of myself. What an absolute moron I've been, I think I'll fucking kill myself now... <sounds of getting gun out, loading it, and partially pulling trigger> oh wait! I forgot, you're a god damn idiot!

Phew! that was close.

Glad the fact that someone can survive without having the TV on amuses you so much. Now going without music...that's a different story.

can't believe you have that opethnet.com forum sig, that place rots.

Eh, I keep it up because a lot of people have joined. It does drag to a complete halt at times, though. I think I made it when this place became overrun with loads of idiots who had nothing better to do than spam and flame. This place was worse than it is now, believe it or not (if you weren't here a couple of years ago).

TV > music

I disagree. Where I live, all you have to do is go on certain bus rides and you'll be able to view fighting, police chases, missile throwing, sexy men/women which you can also witness by walking around/hiding somewhere. TV is simply the same behavioursa without the ecological validity and reading pwns the tv.

Music on the otherhand can produce interesting experiences by itself which can become a part of you.
