I figured this would be of interest to some people in this forum. I think this is great and hope all the best for PT.

Porcupine Tree are pleased to announce that they have signed a worldwide recording agreement with Lava/Atlantic Records. Recording of their seventh studio record and first for the new label will start early in the new year. The band would like to take the opportunity to thank all their fans all over the world for helping this to happen. The enthusiasm and magnitude of support for the band was a big factor in helping to secure the band major backing for it's unique approach to making music.
