I don't have any digital pics of my own, but here are the identical models:

Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling

Not pictured is my Arbor 4-string that is covered in stickers and hasn't had strings on it for about 5 years. :loco:

Yeah but my good camera isn't digital. Here, I'll take one with my $8 digital spy camera to show you how craptastic it is:

A for effort, but I'm not going to make that stupid smiley this time. You can imagine it, because four posts in a row with it as the closing punctuation would look horribly gay.

:loco: > any other smiley. Except maybe :Smokedev:

I just read it's the world's smallest digital camera. Wow. I'll take my Canon 35mm SLR any day of the week, but this little thing is fine for quick close up shots.

Yeah I don't always like pickguards either, I was just playfully defending my favorite girlfriend. :p I haven't tried to remove that pickguard yet, but I don't think it covers a big nasty cavity so I should be able to. I removed my Fender one years ago only to realize it's integral to the electronics. Oh well.

yeah, the musicman bass has no point in having a pickguard. In all seriousness, you have to be a really shitty guitar/bass player in the first place to have to need a pickguard (for the actual purpose of it being a pick-guard so you don't scratch the face of your guitar) at all.

I'm still in shock his one post here didn't have that.

Eh, I kinda like the pickguard on my Ernie Ball. I would take it off, but 9 screwholes would be ugly and I'm not going to epoxy them. Plus it's one of the distinguishing features, the Stingray has a symmetrical pickguard, the Sterling is offset. I also have one more fret, a switchable pickup, and a smaller, goofier looking headstock. Sterling > Stingray. :loco:

I just noticed NicodemiX'sX'X's's'xX geeeeetar is a 7 stringer. You want to play Korn HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR. Just kidding, 7 strings were cool before Korn started playing them. And OMG we use the same picks. If that's a Dunlop Jazz III anyhow.

I noticed that was a 7 stringer straight away!

Also, Steve Vai was playing his 7 string Ibanez before Korn.

I'm just full of useful information today. :loco:

Coke > Pepsi

I think Morbid Angel was the first group I knew of to use 7 stringers. Baritone guitars are awesome, but I've never played one. I remember when Steve Vai was wanting a guitar built with 15 notes to the octave, I wonder if that ever panned out.

I don't like anything but 4-strings for bass, but for two hand tapping 6 strings or more can be quite useful.

For some reason, I thought the 7 string concept was Steve Vai's idea, but I could be wrong. This is where he started playing his 7 stringers...
