it would seem like a really, really long time just to produce anything, because one phase of that wont produce anything that sounds good, you cant just pick a lick or a phrase and send it over and have someone else add their instrument on. you need to be together and jamming and constantly showing new ideas and trying new things. this process seems too disjointed and would take a really long time to see any results

Hey check out the song i just finished recording. Eventually i'm going to get mics so that i don't have to use this pedal thing that i have and can get a better sound, but i don't think it turned out too bad. Also i was too lazy to record the bass track so i just made a midi one (then it ended up sounding terrible so i turned the volume waaaaaaaay down). Anyways its called IB.

ure myspace link is wrong...i had to take out the "_"....anwyayz....listenin now.....drums sound so mechanical......very machine-y......guitars are alright....a nice medievel feel to them....like the lil breakdown part.....are there any vox...???.....coz without it its kinda monotonous......but its not bad....im sure with a lil more lead work/vox ....this song can go to the next leve....some interesting ideas......i really wouldve loved some voccals.......also the melodic part is really nice....very chilled out and ambient......the lead and such after the mwlodic interlude...def. ...make the some more entertaining and interesting......solid job fella.....keep rockin......just add some vox....and itll be ready for the masses.....Keep rockin...!!!....PEAC EOUT
i sing very poorly and i can't growl. i started to work on lyrics but one of the guys i'm in a band with didn't have time to record the vocals for me so it is what it is i guess.

this is also one of the first songs i'd written where i actually had verses and choruses in mind (started off as the beginning of a concept album) which is probably why its a ton more boring than my other stuff that i'd written. Pregocidal has a lot more leads in it, but i'm trying not to just turn into a shred fest, which i think its the easy way out. Its alot harder for me to write chord / rhythm driven music and keep it both interesting and unique/innovative to some degree. IB has some lead stuff for a second that i tried to do a little bit of counterpoint with.

pregocidal .....was cool....had a nice melodic feel to it....i actually liked the straigt up chords in theh itnro ....had a nice gallopy feel to it......also the mellow section was nice.....and then the thrashy part kicks all ass.......intense section......i like the blast beats on it...really wll done...its a well written song and the twin lead thing is just aweosme...fits theh song really well......one of the better songs Ive heard here.....really enjoying it.....i like the lil "dragon force"-esque sound FXs....hahaha.....awesome....kilelr job amigo...loved the tune....keep rockin.....PEAC EOUT

Had a blast.....awesome crowd.....aweosme venue.....we even had a bandname banner made .......killer show......its nights like these when I realize that no matter what I do....ill never be as happy as when Im onstage and rockin out...ok ....maybe If I was a professional player playing for ManU....kinda close feelin....hahahah.....but yeah had a great time....aweosme turn out.....shows are just poppin up left n right.....so its a good sign....we are in demand....makes u think ....ure doin something rigjht.....i hope u guys enjoy this one...Keep rockin.....!!!...PEAC EOUT

Uploaded two small tracks today. "100 year flood" & "Meshuggah Mario", the second being a just-for-lolz recording where UM-user ^Koi^ up here made a drumsample out the the Super Mario theme song, into which I added the guitars later on. It sounds pretty wicked.
