Post your DOMINANCE in UT2004!

I've never played Assault, strangely. (Well, I have done one offline game)

A game I played just now:

It wasn't as one-sided as it seems. The guy below me just left, and so did some of the red team.

You're kicking some serious ass man!

I haven't won any matches yet, but I finished in the middle of the pack several times today! :loco:

Looks pathetic compared to Sunlapse, but I was chuffed :D (yes I take screenshots in the middle of games and yes I have that fps thing up because I'm sad)

Anywhere near the top in any game is a good sign Int. ;o)

If you feel your game is lacking somewhere, it helps to play more of the appropriate game-mode to balance your all-round game. Like, if you're getting a lot of points in ONS through repairing nodes, defense, fragging with vehicles etc, but you feel like you're getting gubbed a lot in person-to-person fighting on the ground, then have some intermittent games in deathmatch to get your skirmishing skils a little better. If you're a deathmatch nut like me and you lack in teamplaying, play more ONS, CTF, BR and DDOM and either stick with team members or even spectate a high-scoring player/high scoring team and see how they interact with everyone else. (oooooh the hypocrisy, lol)

A very interesting skill-booster has been mentioned by Ultron at the UT boards; configure a single bot (or if you're on the demo like me and can't do that yet), at a level where you struggle to win, but can sometimes scrape through. Then play 1v1 offline against that bot repeatedly until you start getting better, and when you start winning every time, put the bot higher so you're pushed again.

I haven't tried it yet but it sounds like it could work pretty well.

Yes, that's me. I'm not the best with one on one fights (occasionally both my aim and the other player's aim has been so terrible that the fight moves over most of the level  ). I'll try a lot more deathmatces until I get a little better.

I haven't got the game yet, no, so will I not be able to configure the bot? I'll try it anyway when I play in a bit. Thanks for the advice. :)
