I agree with you on the Black Album, and i think those same angels were guiding Bob Rock on Motley Crue's self titled album with John Corabi, that had killer production too and has gotta be one of the most underrated rock albums of the 90's.

You know that's a great point. I thought "Hooligan's Holiday" was a GREAT tune at the time. Some great Mick Mars riffage on that tune.

I don't care who produces as long as it sounds good and has John's vocals!

I think WCFYA is my favorite productionwise but I love SOWN too. The drums could have been punchier and the snare not as deep sounding as it is, though. But on certain songs it fits better than others. The guitars and vocals dominate on the album...the bass and drums have been better on the albums after it.
