ProgPower USA Sponsorship: what are the details?

I've intended to post this inquiry for awhile now but am only now getting around to it. Forgive me if this is common knowledge....

I've noticed several forum members are sponsors of various bands for this year's ProgPower. What does this "sponsorship" mean exactly (I think I could guess some details generally speaking), what are the obligations of a sponsor, and how can I find more information on perhaps doing this sort of thing for forthcoming ProgPowers (I didn't see anything on the website but may have overlooked it)?
