Programmed Drums for People Who Hate Programmed Drums

I wouldn't buy it, but that's because I can play drums and have an ekit :)

It sounds like a good idea, if you can stretch it out long enough to make it look an attractive buy. I don't think people are gonna pay for something the length of a blog-post.

I, for one, would be very interested in this. There's no such thing as having too many tricks up your sleeve.

If you expand the topic a little bit, writting about tips and tricks with real drums , mic positions and types etc, you just double the potential market for this book.

I wouldn't buy it... But I know many people would.

I'm not sure what those techniques mean per se, but I feel programming drums to sound realistic isn't even hard. That might be because I'm a drummer, and know exactly how I want things to sound, and how they really are played. The rest is just adjusting velocities and making sure the playing doesn't sound inhumanly accurate. I don't know if this book is supposed to dive much deeper into the subject than that, but I don't feel programming drums with the right tools poses a problem.
