Q: Which entertains you more - conversations over any distance-related media (phones, internet), or conversations in person? Is the choice the same if the person is a close friend or a total stranger?
A: Interesting question! I prefer conversations in person if I know the person in question. I don't like talking on the phone at all - there's only one person I feel comfortable doing that with. I've always explained that dislike with the fact that I can't see the other person's face or the way he/she reacts to what I say... also, I'm not a good talker. Which might be why I prefer internet to phones, even though I can't really see people's reactions there either. Internet is the best for talking to strangers or people I do not know very well, as I am shy and like I mentioned, find it easier to write than to talk. Also, it gives you time to think your answers over, so if you're having a truly deep philosophical discussion you have the possibility to work on how you express your ideas a bit
