A: In Bavaria you could drink beer with your parents or even whiskey and stuff, but it depends on the parents' attitude towards alcohol; I don't do that, cause my parents think it's not good in my age (17) and so most people think here. My grand uncle offers me some alcohol everytime i visit him.

a: as far as i know in most italian households wine is consumed with meals and teenagers are allowed to partake. in some areas in the south, though, it may be considered unseemly for a teenaged girl to drink so that would be limited to males.
