no it's not sandy. it's mostly flat but with some rolling hills, and rather impressive hills in the "cedar hill" area. lots of grass and trees, and lakes.

DC definitely takes the cake for bad traffic. The 2 weeks that I was in LA, I experienced some of their traffic, but even that wasn't as bad as DC
