Questions for the band

It's time on the one hand.....and finance on the other unfortunately. There's no way in hell I could sanction investing my money in another project in which I was the driving force, much as I would love to do it. What am I talking about, it makes it sound like I actually HAVE money to invest lol!

I also have a new question, which is probably personal as well, but I hope I can get an answer to it.

Do you(Steve) smoke?

Considering he said he has a cigarette in the morning, I assume so!

Quick question for Power Quest: hope this isn't too personal, but... what are Power Quest's religious beliefs? I'm a Christian and was wondering.

Good question dude.......as far as I am aware none of us have any formal religious beliefs...although my father was a church minister before he retired a few years back.

I have a fairly simple philosophy in life, which in some ways has an element of Christian teaching in it......

Be the best person you can be each and every day and treat others with the respect and decency you would like to be treated with yourself.

That's nice, the Golden Rule as it's came to be known. Interesting to hear your father was a minister... and major thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

Question: Are you guys(the band members) are living close to each other? so close, that you could get to your member's home with a vehicle in a few minutes?

I know that you guys already have a LOT of questions, but if you can add those 2 to your list(or even answer now), would really appreciate it!

1. What's the favourite PQ song of every member of the band?
2. In the background of the artwork of Blood Alliance, there are many large buildings that pretty much looks like a city. Could that be the city that the song City of Lies is talking about, or it has nothing to do with the song?

Cheers!

The modern city in the background is loosely tied into the City of Lies concept.....in the sense that if you are a stranger in a lot big cities in the world it can be a lonely place indeed.

There's also a slight nod to an old folk story about a character called Dick Whittington in the lyrics

For those of you who don't know this story/myth check this

Well, if you noticed....the change to real life lyrics started on the Master of Illusion album really with Civilised, Save the World, Human Machine etc

Songs like Children of the Dream too and Hold on to Love were based on real life things too....so it's not totally new

From the new album....you could add Survive and Better Days to that list as well.

Wow there are more real life lyrics than i thought. I mean i've heard the songs many many times but never really thought of how many of them that are real life lyrics...Intresting, I always thought of PQ as a fantasy based band, but when I think of it, there's alot more real life inspired songs than imagined.

Hoping to se more of this in the future as well!:D
