Questions for the band

Well as you can tell from the podcast......a number of questions answered from the ones you submitted here and from guys on Facebook as well.

As I'm intending on making the podcast a regular thing.....certainly a monthly one from me and some stuff from the rest of the guys as well, so I'm gonna keep the question thread open and running and I'll be making a regular note of any questions you guys have

Wow, my question was in the podcast.... thanks so much!!! Awesome hearing Steve say my username on YouTube.... so, it was the Virginia Water Country Park, eh? If I ever visit England I'm bound to go there and get some photos took. Heck, if I'm ever in a band, I might record a video there LOL. Thanks again.

I have a question that's been on my mind since I first saw the Blood Alliance cover. How does the cover relate to the title of the album? I don't see any immediate relationship. A detailed analysis would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need to help me out a bit here guys....do want me to answer the questions here....or purely in podcasts from now on?
I think that purely in podcasts would make it more organized, but after hearing the first podcast, you didn't really get to answer many questions at all. So it can take a long time then, unless, you are able to make the podcasts longer than about 20 minutes.

I think just answering them in Podcasts would be best, gives you more material to work with when doing them, plus maybe it would less time taken up on your part?
yeah, also, I noticed that Steve gave much more detailed answers to the questions in the podcast, than when he answered them in this thread.

Definitely podcasts :) And if you get too many questions, do more podcasts :D

Question:
did you have some song ideas yet when you were working with Pete as a vocalist and did you have to rewrite those parts to fit Chity? Or were the songs written after Pete left?

I think answering them in podcasts would be the best idea, as long as you don't get overflooded with questions that you won't be able to answer within the time of the podcast.

Here's another question: have any of the band members been seriously injured before or during a gig, and if so, how did the band react? Did they get a temporary replacement for that show or just cancel it?

Man, I had that once. During a gig one the guitarplayers leaned into me during his solo, but I was just about to step away. So I wasn't standing too steady. Somehow my knee twisted and my kneecap shot to the side of my knee, dislocated is what it's called, I think. I fell to the floor, in a reflex pushed it back in and continued the gig, sitting on the drumstage and stumbling about. Was in pain for a few days and had a swollen knee for a week and a half, but we did finish the gig :D

Interested as to what Steve's answer to this one is :)

Question: Power Quest is primarily known as a Power Metal band, but there are some other elements in the music on albums like Neverworld and Magic Never Dies. Which other genres do you think Power Quest's music may be, alongside Power Metal?

Question 2: DragonHeart(the band that you were in a long time ago, now known as DragonForce) became very successful and popular than Power Quest is, at least, in terms of commercial performance and popularity. Do you feel any regret leaving DragonHeart back then after seeing them becoming so sucessful?

This is why I'll never do that with my guitar.... Even in an empty room LOL. I'll always be afraid it would magically hit someone in the face 10 miles away or something....

Wow most of my questions that I had have already been answered hehe. So here's one or two sort of on the spot heh :

1.What made you choose the type of instruments you play now ? (By "type of instruments" I mean brand name and model etc.)

2.Do you have any favorite equipment/instruments that you use now or have used in the past ?

Did Steve not answer a question very similar to this (also asked by yourself) in the posted podcast??
