Questions for the band

Just wanted to add a couple here that were sent to me by a PQ fan Kristin Rycko.....putting them here so I don't forget.

1. Does the large age gap between the members of the band affect the way the band works at all?

2. Are any PQ songs inspired by real life events? Particularly songs like "The Message" and "Hold on to Love" for example.

I definitely second the second question! It would be cool to know the inspirations for some songs

I would like to know which PQ song (the new album excluded) is the favorite of each member. Steve may be excused from this question, as it may be hard for him to choose one with so much emotional attachment to them all.

Hey, it's been a pretty long time and I'm just really curious when will we get to see the questions answered Steve? :)

Yes, I know. But I don't understand - "We'll be recording the answers for you at the February rehearsal weekend guys" ?

Which weekend? What date?

Question from a gamer;

Steve, did you play Amiga500 games when you where a kid? :) That's a stupid question, I know, but some of your work gives me a nice feeling thinking back to the days of that wonderfull piece of electronics. A lot of music and games made nowadays dont live up to the keyboard work that was on most of those games. ?

Well......did ya did ya did ya?

I know from my own environment at least 2 keyboard players who did. (one of them still is collecting games and giving his A500 more love than his own wife and kids...)

Ok...I'll answer that one now.

No, I never played or owned an Amiga back in the day. I owned a ZX Spectrum back in the mid 80's but that's about it. Hardly played a video/computer game in the last 10 years either.....just don't get the time anymore

New question:

Besides PQ and DragonHeart(known as DragonForce today), were you(Steve) a member of any other bands?

I'll answer that one here as well as I think we have plenty of questions for the video answer session now.

Before Dragonheart, I had a small band called Dog Day Sunrise circa 1996 and I briefly worked with DSG (David Shankle Group) in 2008.

I have had a number of offers over the years to work with other bands but I just haven't had the time to take up these offers unfortunately.

This year I will actually be working with Belgian band Iron Mask as well.

^ related: Fully understand the having no time thing, and also maybe you found an outlet for this, but what of the 'side-project band from Power Quest, "a new melodic hard rock band" with influences such as "Whitesnake, Dokken, Kiss, Ten and Saigon Kick" ' ? Might this one day see fruition?
