It was one of those "just sitting at my computer" moments that turned awesome with a camera. And that's this forum in the reflection.

I worked on my hillstream tank during my vacation in the last 3,5 weeks.
I only used pebble stones and flagstone and exchanged my substrate for natural filtersand. Every piece of slatestone is polished to prevent the hillstreams from damaging themselves on the sharp edges. The tank still has to ripe (algae growth), so in the meanwhile i offer feeding stones that i keep outside in the sun that are already grown with algae. Now there are 5 Beaufortia hilly's and 4 asian fanshrimps in the tank. In the future Pseudogastromyzon Cheni and a harem of Rhinogobius Wui will keep them company. But not before the tank has riped. I still have to work on the filter outlet but for now, it works. It creates a strong flow and Hillies like to be in the flow, seeking for food.
