If it was made in Seattle then it wouldn't be Murano. We used to sell some Murano jewelry pieces at Macy's when I worked there. And charged a shit-ton for them too, of course.

Yeah Murano glass is made, well, in Murano...right across the bay in Venice. It's ridiculously expensive, too...just like everything in that fucking place.
It looks quite similar and I'm sure it's made in the same way. I find it very beautiful.

This one is my favorite. I saw this very one in that very shop when I was there a couple of years ago. Had I 5000 euros to pluck down, I'd have bought it.

Another reason I didn't buy that crap is because you have to ask yourself, "Where the hell do I put that thing? Next to the Wii?"
Someone gave us an entire set of Murano glasses for our wedding, and we keep them behind the glass case on our liquor shelf in the very back. As long as they're collecting dust, that's fine with me. I don't want to touch them. I don't even want to know how much they cost because I'll be so nervous holding it that I know I'd drop it. I'm too scared to even clean them.
They're like a Mogwai.

Still learning how to use my new camera. Played around with some different settings such as aperture, while taking pics last night. This is one of the better ones:
10 second exposure, f/8.0 and ISO 100. Took some ISO 1600 pics but they turned out too grainy.....I suppose too much light coming in from the city.

my friend from New Zealand had something like that but if you squeezed it it made sheep sex sounds.
best part is his 90 year old grandmother got it for him for no apparent reason.
