Conclusion: I always see people say that The Spirit of Ukko is Kiuas' best work... and I have agreed with that statement for years, until recently. I really think Reformation is quite the underdog album for me, even though it's Kiuas' most criticized. I feel every release has it's ups and downs, but all albums stand apart in greatness. Lustdriven is still fresh, but I stand by this list as I have given it quite a few listens over the past few months.

But I know The Quickening is meant to be a "radio song". And Radio Rock plays that song here in Finland!

One thing that bugs me about this band is that I do feel they haven't released a single album better than their debut (although all the albums are incredible). But, I can take 5 songs each from the last two releases put them in such an order:

One thing I really like about Kiuas is that they put different types of songs on their albums. I have a "power metal" Kiuas playlist AND an "introspective/progressive metal" Kiuas playlist, which I think is pretty awesome. They're not limited to just one sound, but you still know it's them.
