Raventale - for fans of "post Burzum" stuff like Drudkh

I could drum for Raventale. But people probably wouldn't take this band seriously with a female drummer. Anyway, I told Astaroth, that if there's anything - he can count on me. But he has this drummer guy from his second 5 members project. So I guess, there're no problems such "where should I get a drummer?".

That's a load of shit, any non idiodic metal head will not judge on seeing a female drummer. The music will speak for itself.

I personally wouldn't take a metal band with a female-member (on an instrument) seriously :D

PS: Bolt Thrower is an exeption.

That just doesn't make anysense on why you'd hold that belief? What bands make you think this?

A lot of great bands do this, Hammers of Misfortune, Mythic, Ludicra, etc.. It's just an absurd comment.

That's a lame sarcasm, I guess I didn't catch on to it because you would say something like that.

I guess I'm not. My work keeps me very busy and I'm not sure if I'll be albe to take one week off, considering that you have to start thinking of buying tickets as soon as possible, if you actually want to get there.
Are you?

edit: I think, I need to get fired...

Yeah, probably, I'm visiting grandma, so it's a really nice chance. She lives in Crimea too.
I actually heard the tickets are all sold on spot... may have to verify that.

For those unaware: Immolation, Suffocation, Deicide, Vader, Bendiction are on the the bill. Shweet. Though I guess a little variety would be better.

Nice. Crimea isn't a bad place for a metal fest.
Here's the list of the approved bands, that are going to be there http://www.mhm-fest.com/ru/next_fest/confirmed_bands.html
Beside the good-known bands, focus your attention on "Perimeter" - it's a great band, although it's pretty modern too. And "Люстры Чижевского" - those are some funny motherfuckers.

Daymn, Perimeter are not half bad. Too bad they're playing the Red Alert days, among the nu/hardcore bands.
Of the local ones, I also listened to Gardarika and they're great! nothing too original, but it will be refreshing to see a doomy, folky band.
If only Drudkh were there to mock my ancestors :\.

THE GREAT RC HYPE MACHINE STRIKES AGAIN!

haha, so true
I don't doubt that this stuff (as most of the rc hype items are) is really good though, but I've never heard it anyways, and it's probably not jesus 2.0 as parts of this thread make it out to be

I kind of like it sort of in the way I like Wigrid: a lesser quality highly derivative album, but still pretty reasonable.

It's ok for me to like this now that the hype machine has been defused.

The quality isn't that bad, considering, that the album was recording at home...

I think it's excellent. I've listened to it a hundred times already, and yeah, it'll be stunning to play this again when the leaves start to change coloUr.....
