Well, I watched the video you posted above and it is full of this "press one key and the software is doing the rest for you" stuff. Yes, sometimes this can be helpful and interesting, but if you take a closer look those software tools just reduce and restrict creativity and diversity. Many users (admittably not everyone) don't even care anymore about putting real effort in their melodies and grooves, they just glue pre-recorded drum loops together, then scroll through infinite libraries of guitar and bass loops. Well, okay, most members of this forum at least create and play their own guitar riffs.
Sure, it's all about what amount of tools and helpers a musician uses. And I have nothing against a little cheating here and there ;-) But I'm talking about a trend. Because many, many people don't even perceive it as cheating anymore. It gets more and more normal that the sofware does all the creative work for you. And I don't like where this is going.
