Indeed he is! This one I had on vinyl as a kid/teen but haven't gotten around to buying on cd until now.

I have a lot of his albums, and several bootlegs

Jex Thoth - Blood Moon Rise

I like this band a lot. I don't think they are or ever did get the attention they deserve. BUT if they did it would probably change them as with everything else.

I don't have all his albums, I think he has well over 15 albums released, but I have the first 7 and I love all of them. The debut, Swordfishtrombones and The heart... are probably my faves. His post Rain Dogs discography is pretty unknown to me though. Any recommendations?

Jex Thoth are great indeed! I hope this new album can bring them up a level! It's absolutely awesome!

The mid-80s through now Tom Wait's musix has gotten progressively weirder and incredibly bizzare, but it is so damn good. I dont think you can really go wrong with any of his album but if youre looking for his past 20 years you need to check out: Bone Machine, Bad as Me (2011, his newest), Real Gone, Alice, and Blood Money. But like i said you cant go wrong with any of his stuff.

Thanks mate! Will look into his past two decades then! I realised I actually do have Bad as Me. Great album!
