(i have literally seen that movie 40+ times because it was one of the three videotapes i had when i lived in philly, so i'm going to stop the quoting spree here before it gets out of control)

Okay, okay.. making a list of all these. I have a feeling some of these are going to be hard to find at Mammoth Video.

I saw Fear and Loathing and I didn't care for it at all. It gave me a headache (too claustrophobic?) and fat Bencio Deltoro really annoyed me. I don't think Gilliam is a bad director, though.. I really liked 12 Monkeys.

If you haven't already, you should check out his masterpiece The Fisher King. And yeah, Del Toro really outdid himself in that role, I could smell him through the screen! f'in repulsive.

BRAZIL I won't argue with. And as much as I love Munch and Bandits, they're just way too over-the-top fantasy with wacky characters for me to recommend to someone whose tastes I'm not familiar with.

Brazil is one of the best films ever made, I think. Top 100 for sure.

Aye, I IMDB'd all the movies mentioned and got the English titles.

And yeah, Baron Munchausen is excellent.
