Relentless Reckless Forever (Out March 8th, 2011)

So, I didn't think I'd ever be saying this, but I'm pretty much enjoying RRF as I'm listening to it right now. Really surprised. It's funny, because the vibe these songs give are in some ways actually similar to songs I've been working on with my friend for a while now.

It may be tied with Hatebreeder for my third favorite CoB album right now... *shrug* the new-ness factor helps I guess.

Still can't believe Was It Worth It was their single release. wtfbbq.

This thread used to be really entertaining with all the anticipation and flaming and trolling and rolling and lulz, but not anymore now that the album is out

TRUE DAT.

It's still hard to believe they made such a god-damned melodic album. After AYDY and BD it's simply insane.

Also am I the only one who thinks the album, as a whole, is their slowest ever? Not that it's a bad thing by any means, but simply an observation...
I remember someone saying that there would be no slow song on this album, but now I feel like they wanted to say that there was going to be no "definitive" slow song on there.

I don't have that feeling. All songs are average speed if you ask me.

I do like how 'everything you love about Bodom' was true. Except for the 'everything is tenfolded' bit but that was unrealistic anyway

Indeed, I think the album is quite a ride. I haven't come back to it after hearing it a few times, though. *shrug* maybe it'll interest me again. Maybe not. There's just so much other stuff being released that this one's just flashed by.

I think they released WIWI as a single because they new it was crap and decided to release it first so that the people get used to the idea of it being on the album

Roundtrip definitely feels like the "ballad" of this album, it's just not so slow.

Someone uploaded Party all the time to Youtube for anyone that wanted to hear it...

Edit: Delete my post if I'm not allowed to tell this.

Imo its defo not slow, "slowest" track is Roundtrip which i feel is the "ballard" of the album :Shedevil:

edit : lol just saw ur post Joonas and agree \m/

What the hell did Lauri Porra do at Petrax during their recordings?
Or, in another way: Why do I see him playing (Henkka's) bass there?

Not that I mind (to the contrary <3) but I'd love to know.

I loved the cover. Awesome stuff :] Although I wish Alexi or Roope added a solo in their...Oh well, good cover!!

Really? I thought it sucked, my favourite Bodom cover is definitely "Oops I Did It Again" but "Somebody Put Something In My Drink" is up there too.

Yeah I agree, this is imo the worst cover they did, performance is great, but song sucks, but positively surprised by the vocals of the guest singer James Luna :yow:

I can't find it on youtube..Could someone just link it? All of those other songs were linked from youtube before the album was out and some weren't officially released.

I don't know, man. Me and a few friends had a little party yesterday, listened through the whole album and we all loved Party All the Time. It's absolutely not a cover you're supposed to be taking seriously, but you never should, when the original is so ridiculous
