If you like Requiem for a Dream you should check out Pi (math symbol) it is by the same director, its a briliant movie

Ah yes. Requiem is a brilliantly fucked up movie. I love it. And the soundtrack is amazing, so messed up. That movie almost makes me scared of drugs, it's fuckin' great. And yeah, Pi is way messed up too. Pay close attention though, it's easy to get lost watchin' that fuckin' movie. I love fucked up movies though 
yeah Pi is awesome too, I think i like it more than Requiem for a dream personally, but both kick ass, Darren Aronofsky is amazing

Ethereal... Pi is awesome. I have it on my computer at the moment.

heh. I have Cube on DVD. It's surprisingly good for a Canadian movie. The coolest part is at the beginning when the guy gets diced with that wire screen. He just stands there. Seconds later you see a little blood trickling around his body. Then he just falls apart. . . very cool

There are cool things in memento that you only notice after watching it several times. Like there is one part where, while the main charictor is having those memories of Sammy Jenkis a person walks by sammy and for a split second after you see that sammy is the main charictor.

Just watched this movie a few hours ago. I thought it was great with alot of symbolism. Also, I liked PI and Memento because they are different from the "average" movie along with Requiem... I've done drugs and have been "Strung Out", but not as bad as the characters in the movie. I love how Harry's mom grits her teeth when on "speed/diet pills", I've done this too many times, she should have chewed gum. After seeing Harry's arm get "fucked up" I don't think I will ever shoot up or "push off". A great movie that shows that both young and old can, but not all people, became addicted to drugs whether its crack, coke, heroin, diet pills, etc... Harry's girlfriend is hot, is that Jennifer Connely? Marlon Wayans impressed me by playing a more serious role and not his usual "stereotypical" one? Cheers.
Requiem for a dream is nothing less than a pure masterpiece! It´s probebly the most powerful and shocking film I´ve seen in a long time. And yes, the ending is realy cool.
Pi is also very good but not nearly half as good as Requiem for a dream in my humble opinion.
And since people are talking about Memento, it´s one of my favourite movies.

another great movie with probably the most intense seen ever in it is Jacob's Ladder... definately a brilliant movie... for me, no movie will ever beat Scarface though... I personally feel this was the greatest movie of all time, the characters and the acting are excellent
