Revelation about Limahl!

Limahl is one of my idols.

Absolute idols. He's got a great voice for 80s pop (one of the best) awesome hair (well, he did) and he was just unreal. And I'd only ever heard one of his songs, which was The Neverending Story theme song.

A couple of days ago I found out he was the singer of Kajagoogoo, I almost fainted when I saw him come out nowhere in the film clip.

He's your idol, and you only just learned that? Some idol! It's like someone saying "I'm the biggest Robbie Williams fan ever, and last night I saw him in a Take That video! Wow, I didn't know he was in that group!"

Anyone watch the top 200 of the 80s on musicmax on the weekend? I wish I did, but I only saw a few songs - Fine Young Cannibals and Leo Sayer immediately spring to mind. And Lionel Ritchie too!

I sat there for as long as I could, and it was the first time I watched music programming on TV where there WASNT ONE BAD SONG. NOT ONE. THERE WAS NOT ONE BAD SONG. I LIKED THEM ALL.

I was in fucking heaven.
