Finally the two huge egos of Luca and Alex have reached an impasse it seems and therefore decided to go their separate ways. What drama queens! Mind you this is not such bad news IMO. Luca can maybe deliver on his long promised Helloween Keeper 3 album with Olaf Hayer finally and Alex and the other guys can continue with Rhapsody of Fire. The whole thing is extensively gone through on the link below. It reads like a United Nations sanction list for Lybia or something it's so complex. Rule 36 subsection c part 2: Alex Holzwarth will drum for both bands!

Wait so Luca's new band is actually going to be called Rhapsody and the other band will keep the Rhapsody of Fire name? Or did I read that wrong?

Well fuck this sucks. I've never seen Rhapsody or Rhapsody of Fire or Rhapsody of whatever; now there's a rift in the band? Just write some more god-damn songs about dragons and swords and get over yourselves, dudes. Nobody wants to choose sides on this. This is almost as stupid as Gorgoroth.

LOL I can only imagine how much confusion this shit is going to cause...

And, LOL (again), this has got to be the most ridiculous thing to ever happen to metal. This beats the Black Metal porn movie from a few years ago.

hearing this I picture some kind of deathklok style cartoon where they get jealous that Cristopher Lee likes one of them better, like an argument between Toki and Skwisgaar.

I can't really get upset over this, I can't find a reason to listen to anything Rhapsody past "Symphony of Enchanted Lands"...maybe "Dawn of Victory" and all that is through goggles of nostalgia.

Luca did have some great solo projects though, and again this might be nostalgia but a "King of the Nordic Twilight" sequel might be kinda cool. Infinite Wonders of Creation wasn't shabby either.

I don't really care either way, I am not a big fan of Rhapsody of Fire or Rhapsody whichever one is popular on this day. I just never could get into them, even though i did see them preform in Korea.
