Rhoads V, or King V.......

ebonys are nice also. this is pretty much how it goes.

Warmth-ebony/rosewood/maple-brightness.

ebony has the warmest tone, rosewood is in the middle and maple as the brightest tone.

plus, it isn't even a HUGE difference. The main factors that affect your tone is your pickups, your strings, and the wood your body is made up. Of and of course the type of bridge you have.

ebony for me...

well for the rhoads: i wouldnt get one if its not a custom (well maybe the jackson-stars rr-j2sp, that one pwnz).
and yeah im gonna let make a custom

Can someone explain the main diffrence between medium frets and jumbo frets...i dont get that at all :erk:

jumbo frets are bigger and easier to grap?
you can make more attack :)Puke:) with medium frets, and more sustain and easier and longer bendings with jumbos.. lawl thats just my humble opinion :p

It's all about taste, there is no right answer to whether Rosewood or Ebony or Maple is better.

+1

and jumbo frets would be like a ibanez rg or a dinky or a RR.

medium frets would be like on a strat.

it is usually said that jumbo frets are better for shreding which i agree with.

well it is possible to shred with them. the JS has medium frets and there are quite a few people who shred on strats like yngwie and eric johnson.
