Whats lame Space monkey?
Anthrax's guitarist giving an honest interview ??? You need to get a grip and realise this reunion is all about the cash and fuck all to do with music......

And I am just giving my honest opinion....

I think it's a cheap dig and I even doubt it's really coming from him!

What happened to all the people that were huge reunion supporters back in April/May/June when this board was flooded with them?? Oh yeah, they all lost interest and moved on much like in 1993.

alright, new here, but i thought i'd add my 2 cents.

i was stoked when i bought the Alive 2 DVD. then i started to watch it. i honestly didnt see the passion there, the sound and editing i thought sucked and i was so looking forward to this. my first thoughts were that this didnt hold a candle to MMD.

last week i got a craving to watch some live Thrax. i reach for Alive 2 again, i look at it and put it down and grab MMD and throw that in. it's just fucking awsome!! bush and rob add the right spice that just makes everything right.

i love classic thrax, but bush thrax is just the shit!!! rob's interview was real honest and you have to give the guy credit for that.

Thanks Rob for the honesty.

I like how he compliments the old music and says that they got better over time with John Bush. Shit I've listened to Anthrax a long time and the Reunion show I saw was great but it's not 1987 anymore. If I want 1987 I got CD's and young bands to listen to that Anthrax probably influenced like Shadows Fall or Arch Enemy.

I really wish that he answered the question about Frank though. Does anyone know the real reason why he left?
Karina - I don't know if any body answered you but from what I understand Frank and Charlie brawled.

I support the reunion and still do for the simple reason that I get to see the line-up again. Is it a good career move? I don't give a fuck. That's Anthrax's problem not mine. Will I be interested in six months if they are still playing the same set and aren't developing new material. Probably not. But I have thousands of other cds to listen to.

But it is good to see someone answering directly to simple questions related to the band, especially coming from Rob who apparently is the best guitar player Scott's ever played with. The obvious question is: Why isn't he on stage with you every night if he's the best guitar player you've played with? Aren't you admiting logically that a Dan Spitz Anthrax is therefore inferior? Why hedge your bets? Either go forward with the reunion or don't.

But whatever... all I care about is whether I like the music or don't. The Menudo fan boy shit doesn't interest me.

QUITE THE BITCHING AND LETS ALL SEE WHERE THIS CHAPTER OF ANTHRAX WILL LEAD....................

who's to say that interview wasn't completely made up?

I mean I'm no member of the CDC thing, and I want John & Rob back in the band too, but that interview is on a website made for negative propaganda of the reunion line-up, so wouldn't be surprised if they completely made it up.

then the real answer

the band wagon is about to hit some bumps and i foresee a lot of reunion fans falling off.

You're probably right. At this point they have to make an album with Belladona otherwise the whole thing is a waste.

i've said that from day one. the whole thing never made any sense to me. they've got a greatest hits cd and 3 live albums since the last studio disc. i feel like i'm on a rolling stones board.
