I feel for Rob - he seems like a decent fellow who got shafted by the reunion. Mr. RBC apparently talks to Rob so I'm wondering why Rob hasn't done an interview with a larger publication, one that already did an interview with Scott or Charlie. That would be the best way to get his side of the story across. And if you don't think I'm sitting here waiting to find out John's side of the story just because I prefer Joey, you're wrong. I would like to find out his thoughts and am looking forward to whenever he gives an interview. I think the only one who hasn't had a huge impact on his life by this reunion is Danny since he is the only one who left the band willingly and pursued another career. You can tell by Joey's interviews that he wants to be back in the band and if doesn't do another album with them, you know he'll be disappointed. John chose not to do the reunion but I'm sure that doesn't mean he doesn't feel shafted. I don't think Rob had a choice and we all know how he feels about the whole thing. Who I prefer has nothing to do with anything because it doesn't mean I can't feel bad for someone. I've yet to say a fucked up thing about John's singing or Rob's guitar playing, so don't use the "Spitz lover" or "Joey lover" crap with me. The only one that I am lover of is hottie Frank and that doesn't mean I think Joey V. sucks either.
 
i wanna hear em. i thought wcfya was a fucking great album i just want to hear good new music. i'm not stuck in the 80's and i hope you're not either.

If you are talking to me (which maybe you aren't, I don't know at this point), I do believe he did the interview. I have no reason to believe otherwise.
 
I understand Rob's sentiment and it's a nice one. The problem is it is not based in reality. There was no next record. I stated this months ago and I will reiterate one more time, without the reunion there was no next record. It's nice to imagine that things would've just gone on from WCFYA but it was impossible. That's it. As far as why that is the case, sorry, it's none of anyone's business outside the members of this band.
And just one aside...
No one ever brings up the fact that Frankie is back in the band because of this reunion. I think that's a great thing. The 3 of us are closer than ever. All I see is why did he leave?
We know what we are doing. The wheels are in motion. The songs sound great. And yes I can answer the question of what it is we are doing and who is going to sing and whatever else you are wondering and I will when it is time. So please stop arguing and complaining about this. Just be happy that we are still here making music and we're all still around to enjoy ourselves.

Aha, the time is after finishing the tour in March or April, isn't it...? But reading your quote I can't void of a thought that Joey's and Dan's existence in the band slowly fades away.... If I am right, it's obvious why you can't reveal it now... Thanks anyway.
 
The interview looks legit to me. I think if it was fabricated then Rob's answer to how he get's along with them on a personal level, would of been a similar reply to what Billy M would give.

I support this reunion personally, but can totally understand where Rob is coming from - from the interview, Rob doesn't sound bitter but certainly confused as to what exactly is happening with Anthrax....

So why the fuck did you LIE to the fans?
I've read about six fucking interviews, or maybe more, in December or January, in all of which you said that you were going to do the next record.
BTW Frankie is back because of the reunion? So he hated John Bush so much? All I know that he was fired because he got in a fight with Charlie, and that's why you fired him from the band. And Charlie's still there.
