I haven't heard any of his stuff, but all the loving he's getting has me interested. However, I was doing a bit of research and heard him labeled as "Christian". I don't have a problem with that word exactly, but it does worry me a little. Lyrics are pretty important to me, and I'm scared to spend money on some uninteresting religious songs. I'm a fan of Christians in a band, not really Christian bands. Its ok, great even, for a band to have religious ideas, overtones, and topics. However, it seems to me that most bands tagged as Christian bands cross the line into lyrical doldrums.
So... before I potentially waste my money... any opinions to help me out?
I'm also interested in suggestions on good introductory albums. Thanks!

) Rob's stuff is much less "in your face" if that kind of stuff bugs ya. Don't let any kind of message stop you from enjoying any of Rock's tunes.

. Rhapsody may have really silly lyrics from time to time, but at least they're funny. Bad lyrics in a Christian or anti-Christian song just annoy me.

Please don't put the "yellow and black" attack off on Rob!
