Roland Monitors

I had a pair of (analog) Roland RSM90's as my first step beyond consumer stereo speakers, and they were seemingly great at the time I made the jump, but I outgrew them really quickly. I wouldn't say they suck, but I will say that I'll never buy Roland monitors again.

I'm not sure that I get the whole digital monitor thing. I mean, does the D/A conversion happen inside the speaker? Isn't that just begging for jitter errors?

Not trying to sound harsh, but I've never heard anybody, anywhere recommend Rolands of any kind when the monitor threads come up. And FWIW, I've read a shitload of monitor threads.

For $500 (US) you can get an Audiophile card and a decent set of active monitors. My suggestion would be to look at that option instead of the digitals.

dude i had a pair of the 6's for a while. for the money they were good i guess. (got em cheap on ebay) but i thought even they krk v6's sounded better.
