I prefer Alexander, because I prefer their old style
you guys are fools. IMO alexander was definitely more than partially responsible for the wonderful classic neoclassical bodom sound... SW, HB, FTR, and, to a lesser extent HCDR... notice that HCDR is the last one that has even touches of that neoclassical goodness. Bodom lost direction when he left... fuck his playing ability; what i'm talking about is the way the interpersonal relationships in the band worked. If you don't know what i'm talking about, don't reply, because you've clearly never been in a band. and if you have, and you still disagree, your band sucks.
Was he still there when they recorded The Trooper ?

You don't get irony when it hits you with a baseball bat.
Holy fuck.
That's gonna be my only reply on this thread.
For fuck sake let this thread die.
Why?
It's a fair enough question.
I mean, it's got to be one of the only topics left on this forum that can still have debate in it.
Alexi wrote 99% of the music when Alexander was in the band. Alexi writes the riffs then presents them to the band.
No, he wrote about 30% where the other 69% was stolen from various composers, plus the 1% originality from Alexander. Ale's chops are far superior to Roope's too, he has a way better sense of rhythm.
