seriously. i hate how my state spends money on everything. its also one of the most expsensive states to live in, and with their high tax rates, which are about to get higher (thanks arnie, douchebag!), youd think theyd be making money.

but we gotta protect the endangered butterflies... and im not lying, they refused to rebuild a levy because of they didnt want to disturb the habitat of a certain butterfly. that levy broke and flooded the area, including my grandparents house. the water was over their roof...

when in doubt, borrow money and waste it on stupid social/environmental things...

Butterfly effect is a cool thing to read about it but in this case I'd say levy > butterfly in terms of what we need. It should DEFINITELY always be judged on a case by case basis, and that's why I think having a mindset where SAVING THE ENVIRONMENT IS ALWAYS FUCKING BAD is stupid and shortsighted.

This isn't fucking news, it's ONE professor from a country that has a clear bias (and is evil as fuck) against the US saying that we're going to divide with really no possible way to prove it empirically or otherwise, at all.
