The Capital of Pretentiousness
Post ratings for songs, albums, movies etc...

Their second best, good album, but a bit too long
Yeah their second best(not saying much considering the rest of their catalogue sucks balls). Would need to give it another go for track ratings though.

Fistful of Metal isnt that bad though...
btw "digital" is incorrect, i have this one on CD

I remember when I first watched The Phantom in kindergarten I thought it was the coolest thing ever and I wrote this story about the three skulls, only now there was like a fourth one that ruled over the other three, and then Indiana Jones and Han Solo show up and I go on this adventure with them along with The Phantom and we fight alien-demons and shit and at the end after we win I have enough treasure to buy a lifetime supply of maraschino cherries all for myself. The greatest art is that which inspires.

Epitome of creativity

To everyone who says shit about post-black metal era Darkthrone - kill fucking yourself. This album is a great example that one doesn't have to write fucking black metal album year after year and that squeaky vocals aren't pivotal to make an interesting album.

Fuck Off And Die is a cool album and always assures a great listen. Not a single filler can be found here, what's more, not a single bad song which the listener would like to skip.

The highlights of this album certainly are the title track, Canadian Metal and Raised on Rock. The latter contains explicit lyrics, which are really simple (as they are throughout the entire album).

you have nothing in common with me
you think old-school is 1993
ha! I've been a thrasher since '84
almost nothing sounds true anymore

To sum up, a compulsory listen for everyone who isn't a close-minded trve black metal worshipper.

My F.O.A.D. review written in 2015.
