Yea, I personanlly think U2 has some sad tunes that aren't really like their radio hit songs. "40" is fuckin depressing, "Exit" (more like a tragic tune from the Joshua Tree )...i can go on...

can't think of many others, because I dont pay as much attention to lyrics as I do music. And a lot of music doesn't sound as sad as the lyrics (XTC's 1000 Umbrellas and most Beatles stuff, for instance).
