Did shenanigans and fiddlesticks ensue?

A great plethora of shenanigans and extreme fiddlesticks.

Wedding went great, one of the groomsmen passed out and the Polish mom made a huge fuss of it while sis and groom were exchanging vows. The string quartet played an instrumental version of Sweet Child of Mine and it's was awesome.

The reception was soooo much fun, lots and lots of dancing with the live band. They played a lot of Four Tops, Temptations, and the like and we sang a good bit with 'em.

Theeen me, my other sis, and my bff/date went to the local bar with our new cousins. About 20-30 minutes in, some douchebag must have seen my sister put her purse under the passenger seat and busted Dave's car window and stole her purse; left my camera on the seat and Dave's iTouch. So we were at the bar until 4 talking with cops, searching the grounds, all in tuxes and bridesmaid gowns.

But the wedding was beautiful, Katie was a gorgeous bride, and we now have awesome cousins to hang out with. All in all, it was a great time. I'm just tired as all getup.

All moved in to my new apartment! The last few weeks have been a confusing pain in the ass, so I'm glad it's all over with. The old apartment could eat my new place as a snack, but thats okay. the real question is how long can i go without having internet readily available?

Today I officially cut all alcohol out of my diet for at least a month and a half, longer if I'm feelin' it.

Bye bye Party Kevin!

Peter has a cold and took the poor wheezy kitty to the vet today for his asthma shot. Sick Peter's sniffer is broken so he didn't notice the cat pissed in his carrier and it got all over my car, then the bed where he threw the carrier and then wherever kitty and his dirty paws went. Ugh. Ramses is still sick too, he's lying on the bathroom floor with his mouth open and gasping for air. The shots usually take 8-12 hours to take the full effect so hopefully he'll be feeling better tonight. Poor lil wheezy tinkle kitty.

Feels good, doesn't it?

I don't know yet, I just started today but I assume it will. I never drank much to begin with so I don't think it's going to be an issue to stop entirely. It'll just be weird to have to remember to stop myself if I decide a beer sounds good. Fortunately, the people I spend most of my social time with are stopping also.

Wish I had that. All the people I know are just as bad with alcohol as I am, so when I'm trying to hold back, I get a TON of pressure to just drink drink drink. I fully admit I'm not strong enough to resist the temptation of all my friends and family drinking when I'm trying to stay sober. You're lucky yer buds are saying no too.

Ouch. I hate how everything is dependant on databases. I am migrating the existing Altiris server to a server-class machine running Linux with a Windows 2K3 VM and previously, Altiris was working fine. I had to change some things such as the IP address of the VM, add a DHCP scope, change the workgroup and the machine name. Due to some glitch in the configuration after these changes, I decided to reinstall Altiris. Due to Altiris being a little bitch, I tried reinstalling SQL2K5 and Altiris and Altiris still won't connect to the fucking database. Shit is driving me nuts.
