say something about ... yourself!

I'd send ninjas, but they're all drunk and as you know, drunken ninjas will inevitably cause a massacre, dropping trees on churches, shopping malls, chainsawing babies, etc. I mean, they do it SOBER, but imagine the carnage if they can't even walk straight? Eesh.

shit you guys are crazy, I've got comcast digital cable with on demand at my new apartment, being able to watch a random slew of shit on my tv whenever i want is awesome. now that i've got on demand i can't go back to regular tv, being able to use on demand to occupy the time that there are no good shows on is awesome.

I'm with Kevin on this one. I don't use TV. I download whatever I want to watch, but generally try to spend my time more fruitfully. I estimate 80% of everything watched on TV is just a waste of time.

I generally spend my T.V. watching time out playing Disc Golf. If I ever do watch T.V. Its almost always the Cartoon Network, G4, or the history channel.

Not all television is vapid horseshit, of course. I just think it's important to realise when you're watching television for no other reason than to watch television. Once you're firmly in this circular hellhole of channel surfing and time wasting, it's a difficult habit to break. Picking and choosing the shows of quality and watching only those, while filling your time in greater pursuits is optimum, I believe.

Vegetating occasionally is fine, but we live in a world where people are transfixed by television, and it's a tad sad.

I think more people now'a days are glued to the internet moreover than the TV. At least thats from my personal experience. To me thats not much of a difference.

The Weather Channel, Discovery, History Channel, Sci Fi, and National Geographic is all I can stand besides hockey, F1 and sports car endurance racing. The dildo lady that used to be on Oxygen at 3 a.m. was entertaining at times however. I choose to waste my time fishing, on a horse ride or a boat ride, or guitar in hand anymore. The TV lies and pacifies.
