I'm going snowshoe backpacking this weekend. Winter is already here in the mountains and there's a good chance we'll get some decent snowfall in addition to whatever is already there. Our goal is Marmot Pass, at 6,000ft. The last report from two days ago says the snow is knee deep at 4,500ft already, so I think we'll be good to go. I'm beyond excited
