No. There's an input in the back where you'd plug in your pc speakers or your stereo. Just stick the headphone jack in the there. It's the green hole.

If all those sliders are up as loud as they'll go, and you still don't get much volume from your headphones, then your sound card is probably from 1980 and you're screwed.

my band and i today played Racer X - Technical Difficulties at the talent show and i thought i was going to freak out because it was in front of so many people (1,400 students and more teachers) but once we started playing i was alright and it was actually pretty fun, and people said they enjoyed it so it turned out alright in the end. this other band played lookin out my backdoor by creedence clearwater revivial or whatever and they wore overalls and that was pretty funny too.
