Wow! Where's the love for 'Reign In Blood'. Not only is it my favorite Slayer album, it's one of my all time favs.

i gotta agree with this guy on both counts!

I personally think Hell Awaits and Reign in Blood are tehir two best efforts, although do think reign is a bit over rated, i think Kerrang called it the no. 1 thrash metal albumn of all time, pretty big call.

What about "Divine Intervention" released in 1994? The opening track "Killing Fields" is great!

Fav though is South of Heaven. First Slayer album I really liked as a kid. I'm sure everyones heard the Children of Bodom remake of "Silent Scream"?? Right?? If not, it's great also.

Ya know, I really don't like "Divine Intervention" as a whole release for crap, but "Dittohead" is one of those songs I can't listen to loud or I'll just start breaking shit !! I don't know what the lyrics say and the song is short as hell, but THAT is one aggressive piece !!
