that's probably the only certain way, (ignoring that pills shit) however bad solution it sounds. and is.:rolleyes: but works.
if looking after kids..then that's not much helping charlotte, though..:(
 
I read in a book or a (music) magazine in a darker light. I mostly get so much into it that I forgett all the problems around me. Then turn off the light and think of a really relaxing sound. For me there's nothing more beautiful than lying on a boat, hearing the roaring of the motor and the waves slightly hitting at the front of the boat. Beautiful!!!!! That sound makes me sleep in two minutes :)

so why did you choose that job in the first place?
i mean i love children,but 17h is way too much.out of sense,hope you get satisfactory cheques:)

i pressume drinking a glass of hot milk would work.in fact the worldwide problem is how to stay awake i think.so little things to get you moving,whereas there are several ways to exhaust yourself to sleep.
 
Well, here some advices to sleep better:

Listen to Sleepless from anathema :) ehehe (this doesn't count, I gess)
Read a book
Watch TV, especialy on a 50hz tv, it's good to make your eyes tired, or put your monitor below 75 hz, it as the same effect.
Take a hot shower, make your bead with new sheets and wear a good pijama.
If you want a shock terapy, try to be awake as much as you can, than sleep only a few hours, 2 to 4 hours, and on the next day, at the end of it it's almost guaranteed, at least for me, that you will have a great night for sleep.
Try to combinate some methods that are presented by me and the others. If you suffer from Insomnia, I think none of those methods will result. Try to go to a Doctor but never take pills, they are the worst thing that you could ever do.

Oh, I almost forgot, you could get drunk too, It's a good way to sleep, eheheh
