The goths in the cities here like Rome, Milan, Turin, etc. are actually usually extremely intelligent, beautiful, cultured and usually very decadent; the problem is that they aren't like that just when they go out on the weekend...they're like that 24/7 and it gets fucking annoying. We're not talking wannabe idiot vampires or dumbass chicks who watch The Craft and want to be witches, but people who live their lives in a very decadent and "gothic" way. Everything they do must be with the utmost of class, style, and sensibility. They can't go to the fucking grocery store to pick up a box of tampons at 10:00 on a Tuesday evening without getting completely decked out in all their getup, only to take it all off once they get home. For being so "original" and having such freedom to express themselves, they end up being hypocritical sheep.

Then we have the metalhead chicks. They're like your drinking buddies with tits who listen to good music usually. Take the best part of the goths; the beauty and class and mix that with the down-to-earthness and friendliness of the metalhead chicks and you have the semi-goth metalhead, or as we all know her: KAREN.
